Nancy Slitz

 

 

Nancy Slitz began her professional life as a teacher in the public school system of New York.  She left academia after several years of teaching and receiving tenure to enter the business field.  Nancy was a Marketing Representative in the Office Products Division for IBM.  In 1978 she was hired by Hammer Art Galleries in New York to manage their Graphics Department and then sold 19th and 20th Century American and European original art from the very prestigious Hammer Collection.   Several years later she joined a leading executive search company where she placed lawyers in many of the major Manhattan law firms.   In 1985 she founded an executive search firm, Slitz Search, specializing in placing senior level technical engineering and sales talent in companies spearheading Object Technology.  Nancy served on the Board of Governors of the Tony Award winning regional theatre company, the Utah Shakespeare Festival beginning in 2000 and served as the Chair from 2011-2013. Recently Nancy was asked to be  Chair of the Advisory Board of StateraArts, an organization whose mission is to bring women into full and equal participation in the arts. Additionally, Nancy serves as the Director of Administration on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Chapter of the International Coaching Federation.  Throughout her professional career Nancy has served and coached non profit boards and volunteered numerous hours to these causes for which she has great passion.  These include Partners, Make A Wish, CASA and Rotary.  Nancy is combining her years of successful business, leadership, advisory skills and business coaching  to Arts Organizations on a national level
